Examples list

[edit]

I have deleted the examples list, because it did not have a single sourced entry, everything was someone's opinion that an item qualified as Americana, and the list of examples had become an indiscriminate list (most of the examples were added by anonymous IPs). I started over with a new list, and will only be adding sourced examples. Anything placed on this list that is not sourced to a reliable source that explicity says it is an example of Americana will be deleted. Mmyers1976 (talk) 14:42, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well done. As you can see from the talk above this is an ongoing issue - in fact I'm inclined to think that having an examples list is just asking for all and sundry to chip in. Here's hoping you will be inspired to flesh out the article with some useful stuff. ProfDEH (talk) 09:07, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
