Assessment

Still start-class, I'm afraid. Things to improve include:

• put some reference citations in - where did each fact come from?
• but most importantly, expand the actual article text on what he is actually known for. The one-sentence resume bits for the jobs from 1961 to 1966 are boring, but that's to be expected. Maybe they can even be merged, it doesn't matter that much. But if he is best known for Cardiac Pacemakers, surely there is more than two sentences to write about that. How did he build a company to be worth $47 million in 6 years from nothing? (And in 1978, $47 million was considered a lot of money. :-)) Surely there are some interesting stories there. Just from the Minnesota Historical Society excerpt I read something about a lawsuit - what was that about? What did he do after 1978? He was only 41 years old, surely he didn't lie back and read the newspaper for 30 years. --AnonEMouse ^(squeak) 18:56, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
