Terminology
[edit]The terminology section has too much jargon and is unclear. An expert should probably take a look. Craig Pemberton (talk) 06:08, 22 July 2009 (UTC)
Gape (bivalve)
[edit]I did a little bit of googling and gape seems to be used to refer to the gap present when the clam is open, although both senses may be used. If the term deserves definition, I've linked it so someone could create it easily. Otherwise maybe the sentence should be struck or reworded to avoid using the term.
