Can you help me find this?[edit]

I have heard that in Medieval times, people would consume wine and perform some rituals in order to recieve information from the spirits. I vaguely remember something about Court Jesters doing this as part of their repetoire. I believe the "Song of my Soul" by Cris Williamson expresses some of this. It feels like a drinking song, but it has a spiritual message, and starts with a petition to be filled with truth and light. Insanityclaus (talk) 20:40, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Are you looking for the classical pronunciation or medieval ones? This article is a little messed up in that it claims that a perfectly fine Latin phrase is somehow archaic. Greg (talk) 00:07, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
