Arghun's Wife[edit]

Was his wife Christian? If yes (citation needed), it would be an extremely important fact in the articles of his two sons. John Hyams 20:56, 12 December 2006 (UTC) Yes she was Christian Catolic from Khereid aimag . —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.91.117.3 (talk) 05:15, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

She was a well known Nestorian Christian and not Catholic (ie: Roman), I am not sure where you got that she was Catholic! Also under his rule (her husband the king) a number of Christian Coins had been struck which today are well know amongst the coin collectors, they depict a cross and the script of "In the name of the Father, the Son and Holy spirit"...etc — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashurbanipal23 (talkcontribs) 12:53, 22 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Arghun's Mother[edit]

How is Maria Palaelogina supposed to be the mother of Arghun when she and Abaqa only married in 1265? How did they manage to have a son born seven years before their wedding? Science would like to know. Missi 06:52, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

You are right. His mother was a Mongol. --Enerelt (talk) 09:02, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Uyghur script[edit]

Although, Chingis adopted Uyghur script, there is big difference between Uyhgur and Mongolian scripts.--Enerelt (talk) 06:57, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicts with relatives in Golden Horde[edit]

Although, Tulabuga reigned during the invasions in 1288-1290, he didn't lead armies into Mongol Persia. Only minor garrisons under Tama Tokhtai (another Arghun's relative) attacked Ilkhanate. --Enerelt (talk) 09:04, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
