a comment regarding the "chemical name"

[edit]

"Baeocystin is a N-demethylated derivative of psilocybin,..." Shouldn't that be "Baeocystin is an N-methylated derivative of psilocybin,..." ?

Psilocybin has two methyl groups, baeocystin has one. To derive baeocystin from psilocybin, you must demethylate. -- Ed (Edgar181) 11:52, 8 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
