Renaming to "bcache"

[edit]

Could someone, please, rename the article to "bcache"? I was unable create it as such — name of the article was automatically uppercased to "Bcache". Thank you. -- Dsimic (talk) 18:27, 4 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I propose this article be renamed back to "Bcache", starting with a capital letter B. This falls more in line with MOS:TMLOWER. Even the primary developer, Kent Overstreet, uses "Bcache" on many occasions. Filenames and code that use bcache, however, should remain unmodified. Somerandomuser (talk) 16:27, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That's simply wrong, but I don't have the time to rectify it. -- 31.223.130.94 (talk) 06:10, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Fixed. It isn't up to style or whatever, but up to the actual name of the project, and the way things are named in Unix and Linux. -- 31.223.130.94 (talk) 07:16, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

bcache file system

[edit]

Is bcachefs the same as bcache? It appears that both are related[1]. Maybe update the article or create a new one about bcachefs? MetalFusion81 (talk) 19:24, 19 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

They are related, but not the same. -- 31.223.130.94 (talk) 07:19, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
