Article title

From what I've seen, he seems to have been usually known as Bill Phillips (though he wrote as A.W. Phillips). It doesn't appear to me that he was usually known as William Phillips. Should the redirect from Bill Phillips (economist) be reversed so that is the article title? Nurg (talk) 22:52, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

I agree Nurg. As per WP:TITLE commonly recognizable names. What would someone search for? In line with that test, the majority of Reliable Sources cited use 'Bill' not 'William'. Spinifex&Sand (talk) 03:15, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
