Flag shown[edit]

The flag with the horizontal anchor appears to be that of the Lord High Admiral, not that of the Admiralty Board. Such a flag has a vertical anchor. Fitzw (talk) 20:16, 21 October 2009 (UTC) fitzw.[reply]

The old Board of Admiralty used the Lord High Admiral's flag, as they were exercising that office. The flag used by the new Admiralty Board is the former Navy Board flag.Andrew Yong (talk) 01:13, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Article appears to be outdated. The Article on the Lord High Admiral states that in 2011 the Queen gifted the title to her husband. List of Lords High Admiral
