Untitled

[edit]

Nichols won 11 PGA Tour events; however, I can only find 10 in my research on the web. Please feel free to add the last tournament when found.--Hokeman 22:21, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation

[edit]

We may want a disambiguation from the other golfer named Bobby Nichols (1942-2008), in light of the latter's recent death. Dan ad nauseam (talk) 06:36, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cite magazine

[edit]

I am willing to let this stay with the old template "cite magazine" and I agree that it's not "broken" this way. It is not worth my time to dispute it. However, I would like to note that I don't see why there is a concern about using the correct current template, and I don't see why someone would go to the trouble of reverting back to the old one. AWB "Rules of use" #4 "Do not make insignificant or inconsequential edits" - Sorry, I see too many of these types of edits. Tewapack (talk) 15:25, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that a number of my AWB edits are visually frivolous (although perhaps positive for server performance), but I think a limitation of AWB is that it doesn't alert the user that no visual change will occur from the suggested page changes. I'll see what I can do in the future to avoid this (or at least do a lot less of it). Stevie is the man! TalkWork 18:59, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Playoff Box

[edit]

Why is there no playoff box detailing the playoffs Nichols was part of on the PGA tour? I would be willing to take a crack at this if nobody else wants to. Whosnext23 (talk) 20:34, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong. The correct link is https://louisvilleky.gov/sites/default/files/parks/golf/bobby_nichols_score_card_web.jpg. The webarchive-link is irritating since it deviates from the article in terms of rating and slope.--Mautpreller (talk) 19:13, 22 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
