Hoax

[edit]

This article is definitely not a hoax. It contains a reference in Encyclopedia Britannica, which I have now added to the article. It is also mentioned in Wikispecies. Thanks --Srikeit (Talk | Review me!) 11:43, 5 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Plagiarism

[edit]

The bulk of the text is taken word-for-word from Darren Naish's article Marsupial ‘dogs’, ‘bears’, ‘sabre-tooths’ and ‘weasels’ of island South America: meet the borhyaenoids, which is not even cited.74.103.228.139 (talk) 12:28, 10 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The worst part is that these text is not about Borhyaenidae itself, it's an introduction to Borhyaenoidea. Really it must be retired.--Rextron (talk) 23:53, 6 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
