Renaissance insurance company

How the collapse of the Russian rubal affects the future of this company  ? 2601:1C0:C801:7B30:E5A9:EDED:B5B:D035 (talk) 04:10, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Boris Jordan / Curaleaf / Russian-connections that led to the formation of the company

[edit]

Hello -

Not sure why adding Boris Jordan's close relationship to Putin is considered "bad faith" when this page has the price of his real estate.

Extremely relevant personal details that ESPECIALLY contradict his own on-record statements and potentially has implications for the company he chairs, Curaleaf.

Happy to discuss further. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MSOgangg (talkcontribs) 17:51, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The content was WP:OR. Even if there is a reliable secondary source, why would it be included? Do we mention every relationship a person has with someone? No. Please do not add the content without consensus as the WP:ONUS would be on you to show why it should be included. --CNMall41 (talk) 19:07, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
When you write "even if you did it correctly why would you include it", it sort of makes it look like you are a REAL GATEKEEPER of these Wikipages.
I can tell this "secondary source" bit is the technical bit in which you will continue to fight this.
I will add more to this page as necessary.
Again - this page has the price of his home listed...
The way in which he navigated the Russian political-sphere in the 90s/00s is much more relevant to his persona.
Best,

I guess I had wrongly assumed that Wikipedia should be a full encyclopedia of someone's background? I guess we can just pick and choose what we like to see? MSOgangg (talk) 21:01, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Boris Jordan's Relationship with Putin/Russia as it relates to his substantial wealth

[edit]

Hey all -

Boris is a billionaire, and despite that, his page doesn't talk much about how this all happened.

A good Wikipage should provide depth.

For instance, on the NTV part, there is no mention of the "hostile takeover" in which police guards raided the newsroom.

See below:

https://www.nytimes.com/2001/04/05/world/tv-network-resisting-hostile-moves-in-russia.html

I fear that if I mention this, it will AGAIN get deleted.

Please advise.

You are avoiding addressing the reason for inclusion. Please see your talk page regarding this. --CNMall41 (talk) 04:04, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The same reason Elon Musk has a page associated to his "political views". MSOgangg (talk) 04:18, 17 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
