How long does it observe each type of target
[edit]Presumably it can only study one star at a time ? How long does it spend on each target ? Is there a schedule ahead ? - Rod57 (talk) 11:04, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
- "The different science objectives require 500 separate target pointings. Assuming 1 hour per pointing the mission duration is estimated at 1175 days or 3.2 years." How does 500 1hr pointings take 1175 days ? Some pointings to confirm transit (predicted from radial-v) could be longer than 1 hr, or is "pointing time" just the settling time ? - Rod57 (talk) 06:16, 17 January 2022 (UTC)
