Wrong reference?

The current reference #10, "Rogers, Meyric R.; Thorne, James Ward (1940-12). "American Rooms in Miniature by Mrs. James Ward Thorne". Bulletin of the Art Institute of Chicago (1907-1951). 34 (7): 108." is surely a mistake? It has nothing to do with the statement that "some strains do not grow well on embryonic chicken eggs". I could delete it, but I have no idea what the intended reference is. RebeccaGreen (talk) 12:15, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why different strains? (influenza)

For N. Hemisphere 2021 and 2022 (for example), egg-based (served as an omelette) vaccine used (as one of four strains)

an A/Wisconsin/588/2019 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus

whereas for cell-based and recombinant vaccines used

an A/Victoria/2570/2019 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus

I hadn't found a reference that stated the reason for the difference. It's not the timing of the release of the specifications because this same pair of viruses appears 2 years in a row. There is probably some difference between how the selected H1N1 viruses grow in the different culture, but that's just speculation.
