Scottish-born Nobel laureates[edit]
As of 2016, Wilson is no longer the only Scottish-born person to win a Physics Nobel, since David_J._Thouless and J._Michael_Kosterlitz, born in Bearsden and Aberdeen respectively, were 2/3 of the physics Nobel prize in that year. I deleted the sentence claiming so in the main text. NormanGray (talk) 20:59, 8 March 2020 (UTC)
- BUT NEITHER OF THE SCIENTISTS YOU MENTION ARE ETHNIC SCOTS -- SO THEY DON'T COUNT. ANYWAY, NOBEL PRIZES ARE RELATIVELY RECENT AWARDS SO THERE HAVE BEEN MANY SCOTTISH PHYSICS SCIENTISTS WHO PRE-DATED THESE ACCOLADES. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A00:23C7:B316:6301:4D86:881:F546:4860 (talk) 23:50, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
