Mistaken redirect

[edit]

Why is Wuhan Center for Disease Control redirecting to Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (this article)? Please fix. 173.88.246.138 (talk) 05:13, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why is this a mistake? One is a subsection of the other. Do we have enough reliable independent coverage to make a NPOV article about the Wuhan center? It's like having an article for the CDC office in New York City. — Shibbolethink ( ) 11:29, 25 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

SARS2: US intelligence

Gao Fu

[edit]

Should it be noted George F. Gao was director of CCDC at time of outbreak? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2600:8804:6600:45:7017:CD9E:8CFC:C1C6 (talk) 06:10, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline of sharing SARS-CoV-2 genomes

[edit]

The current description of the events surrounding the sharing of the first SARS-CoV-2 genome may be incorrect: [1].

On January 10, 2020, the CCDC uploaded the genetic sequence of SARS-CoV-2 to GISAID for global dissemination.

The section may need to be rewritten. FYI @Smartse. AncientWalrus (talk) 10:11, 23 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wrong redirect - please remove

[edit]

The Wuhan CDC (whcdc.org) is a DIFFERENT organisation from the national Chinese CDC (www.chinacdc.cn).
