Picture[edit]

This is a picture of Andrea Luchesi, not of Neefe! 193.19.141.150 (talk) 04:27, 30 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Conductor[edit]

This article lists him as a conductor - it was my understanding (supported by Wiki's own article on conducting) that there was no such thing in the 18th Century; at that time, the lead violinist used to lead the ensemble with exaggerated bowing. Are there any citations for Herr Neefe actually conducting? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 54.240.197.230 (talk) 17:19, 17 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Death date[edit]

German WP has him dying on 26 January. -- Jack of Oz [pleasantries] 21:57, 15 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
