Crucificion ?

[edit]

‘that Jesus was human who was "adopted" by God at his baptism, crucificion, or resurrection.’

What is this word? ‘Crucificion’

And please, please, please stop using the word ‘problematic’ to mean ‘troublesome’, or ‘difficult’ or ‘causing problems’. It is a horrible American misusage for which God will punish them. And you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:44B8:3102:BB00:E578:A461:8C8C:2F8C (talk) 07:00, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A mistake concerning the Human/divine person of Christ

[edit]

Christ is truly human and truly God, thereby 2 natures in one person. But His person is not Divine/human, but only divine.'A basic Christological teaching is that the person of Jesus Christ is both human and divine. The human and divine natures of Jesus Christ apparently (prosopic) form a duality, as they coexist within one person (hypostasis). There are no direct discussions in the New Testament regarding the dual nature of the Person of Christ as both divine and human.-Under the rubrique "Person of Christ" OTHEr ARTICLES THAT DENY THE HUMAN PERSON OF CHRIST https://www.catholic.com/magazine/online-edition/is-jesus-a-human-person https://www.reasonablefaith.org/question-answer/P70/was-christ-a-divine-human-person Thank you for your attention, may the Lord bless your day. 86.221.145.153 (talk) 19:17, 30 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"freeing of the Jewish people"

[edit]

This should be revised to "Isrealites" or "Israel" or "people of Israel" or "Isrealite people" or some other wording. The entire story of Jesus Christ and all the relevant pieces clearly point toward a salvation of the people of the (then broken) kingdom of Israel, or the kingdom itself. Considering that Jewish people are descendants of only one of 12 (or 13) tribes of Israel, the wider scope must be presented for the sake of clarity and context. 2600:6C8A:B740:C:493:CD73:F44D:6C73 (talk) 18:05, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
