Criminal defense/civil offense connection
[edit]I know this article is hurting for sources already, but as part of a cleanup of this article, if one can find a decent source, it might be worth mentioning that, at least in the U.S., attorneys often combine criminal defense (criminal prosecution being done by (assistant) district attorneys who typically don't practice other law at the same time) and representing plaintiffs in civil cases (like personal injury) (many defendants in civil cases being big companies with their own retained counsel).
