dates

[edit]

If Daniel Finch died in 1730, how could he have had a son born, John, in 1745? And what happened to that son? --Anonymous

There is something very wrong with the dates of birth given for his children. I am not sure if this is vandalism or what. The date of birth of his son William Finch was given as 1731, but his second son William Finch (article just created) became an ambassador in 1720. I have therefore deleted this date. William's parents were married in 1685, so that children would be likely to be born in the 1690s. The error may come from [1] and [2]. Peterkingiron (talk) 16:33, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
William Finch's birth was 18 Jan 1691: see [3]. Peterkingiron (talk) 16:49, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
