Detroit Wolverines were a 19th century baseball team that played in the National League from 1881 to 1888. The team played in Detroit, Michigan.

NL champions 1887

photo oddments

What's with the fake-looking heads in the photo (center of each of two rows). The light, etc., are wrong.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Piledhigheranddeeper (talk • contribs)

Ooh, good catch. They look like cut-and-paste jobs. As does the guy standing at the right end. Doctoring of pictures was not so uncommon, even then, except they lacked computers and photoshop to do it a bit more subtly than this. ←Baseball Bugs ^{What's up, Doc?} carrots→ 00:15, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
