Timing[edit]
The dates given have now passed; the list needs to be updated. I'm not absolutely sure, but I think the next date of Dhu al-Hijjah should be October 2, 2016. ☺ 146.243.139.142 (talk) 15:06, 29 January 2016 (UTC)
Month names[edit]
There is brief info in the lede on variant spellings and on what the month is called in Urdu and Turkish; I just consolidated it at the end of the lede. I removed the following sourced info about Ottoman Turkish names, obsolete since the 1920s. I’m saving it here in case someone wishes to add a section about names in other languages as well.
… the name in Ottoman Turkish was Zī-'l-Hìjjé[1] or Zil-hig̃g̃e.[2]
BTW, I believe those two examples are of how the name used to be transcribed into English and French, respectively. IOW it’s very obscure info. — ℜob C. alias ALAROB 13:39, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
