"Carajo"[edit]

What is the WP policy on Swearing? It seems inconsitant that we have his original swear word in Spanish, but refuse to translate it into English. MarcusGraly 21:13, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No problem with obscenities, but to choose any particular English-language obscenity here would be arbitrary. - Jmabel | Talk 03:36, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

merged[edit]

I just merged from Eduardo Avaroa. One discrepancy: that article said he was an engineer in a silver mine, this one says an accountant, neither cites. Does anyone have a citation? - Jmabel | Talk 03:35, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote the "Avaroa" article. This was my source [1] My spanish is a bit rusty, but I beleive an Ingeniero is an Engineer. MarcusGraly 16:09, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Coronel?[edit]

The Battle of Topáter article says he was a Coronel. This is inconsistant with this article. Perhaps the rank was posthumous? Does anyone know? MarcusGraly 16:15, 2 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
