That pic with Sin

[edit]

That picture would work for 'Sin's' article...not this one. I don't mean to be rude but I'm sure there's a cool pic with Eel in the forefront. Lots42 (talk) 19:56, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. The current image doesn't meet the standard set at WP:CMOS#BOXIMAGE. I'll look around for a new one. --GentlemanGhost (talk) 00:18, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The image Image:Serpent Squad.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for the use in this article.
  • That this article is linked to from the image description page.

Who created the character?

[edit]

The article refers to the creators as being Stan Lee and Steve Ditko without giving any reference for this. Considering that the original story where the Eel appears indicates it is "plotted by Stan Lee, written by Jerry Siegel (under a pen name), and drawn by Dick Ayers," it seems that the Eel was created by Lee (concept) and Ayers (looks). Or could one give a reference for the Ditko attribution?
