Neutrality

[edit]

The article contains a lot of weasel worded pov statements with no attribution, along the lines of "he is widely considered (by whom?) to be one of the greatest Italian artists ever". These statements need to be cited to third party reliable sources a lá WP:CITE and WP:RS. Cheers! SGGH speak! 16:40, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A lot of that could be taken care of with info from the Italian article, which is many times longer than this one. Chubbles (talk) 16:41, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Am in the process of translating the Italian page, will put in references once the spadework has been done. Weasel words are also in Italian version. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sandy Ritchie (talkcontribs) 17:18, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I can confirm that Jannacci is as famous in Italy as Elton John is in UK. The point is: what kind of references do you want? I mean, do you want links to sites? Books? Please, consider that they are probably in Italian language. But speaking of «one of the greatest Italian artists ever» is absolutely correct. Just think that many of songs of the Nobel prize Dario Fo have been written by Jannacci.--Dejudicibus (talk) 15:33, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
