Fair use rationale for Image:EpilepsyFoundationLogo.jpg[edit]

Image:EpilepsyFoundationLogo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Epilepsy Forum Raid?[edit]

I saw this video on YouTube that was talking about that Epilepsy Foundation forum was been raid by one of the Group called Anonymous that one of the people from Ebaums World did it. This hasn't been post yet on the article because it hasn't been on controversy yet. This news is coverage that one of the members raid on the Epilepsy forum as of April, 2008. I'm not sure if this is necessary, but I just wanted to share everyone here. --Girla PurpleHeart (talk) 02:41, 9 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removed Link to local chapters of EF as the link is no longer valid. Link to such is available by state from EF's Home Page. J. Kulacz 96.18.50.143 (talk) 05:12, 1 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blatant Advertising?[edit]

Is this whole article not pure advertising? The whole thing is basically telling any readers to go to the epilepsy foundations website, or how to contact any of the important staff of the foundation. I think this page should be marked for speedy deletion, should it not? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Digital L3gend (talkcontribs) 20:08, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

it can be rewritten, and since the organization is undeniable important, it should be. As reviewing administrator, I've begun but I leave it for others to finish and to remove and rewrite any remaining copyvio portions. . DGG (talk) 20:22, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Why did you delete my section on "Controversy", which I reverted after people tried to delete it? It's certainly not advertising, and it illustrates how the EFA fits into some important current controversies over prescription drug marketin. I assume that was inadvertent. I'll reinsert it. HELP! Questions regarding page updates and edits[edit]

I was wondering how one can post links to other articles about the generic medication situation? I see that the links to the Los Angeles Times article--well, series of articles--were removed, which I don't understand. Can someone please explain to me why everything about that article was removed? In looking through everything this page has gone through, I can understand why chunks of the page were removed, but, as it stands now, it seems that the page exists only for the controversy section, which has been pared down so that it only shows one very limited view of a complex situation. Well, that and one other sentence which, frankly, doesn't make sense. I don't see how an attack is controversial. Could someone please explain that to me as well?
