Person or Town?
[edit]Eugene Figg is the founder of various construction design companies still operating at various locations in the USA with the main headquarters in Tallahassee, Florida. One company emerging from the original first company he created is FIGG Bridge Engineers whose name of course is related to Eugene Figg. Part of the fame of FIGG Bridge Engineers is that it makes structurally striking designs while still trying to keep costs down. Of course, there is controversy as past bridges or designs have failed with deaths and injuries such as the Jordan Bridge 2012 in Norfolk, Virginia and more recently the Florida_International_University_pedestrian_bridge_collapse 2018 in Miami, Florida. It is disappointing to see wikipedia articles sanitized of negative information on past design failures by various Figg companies. There were allegations of shoddy construction oversight in the aftermath of the FIU bridge failure investigation.
It seems relevant to me that the set of Figg construction companies be listed in the entry for Eugene Figg. AnimeJanai (talk) 20:54, 12 October 2019 (UTC)
