Yelena Serova is reportedly going to be part of Expedition 41. She will be the fourth female cosmonaut that Russia has launched into space (Valentina Tereshkova - 1963, Svetlana Savitskaya - 1982/1984, Yelena Kondakova - 1994). It appears she is only being used as a political stunt as opposed to this being the beginning of integration of the cosmonaut program because she was the only woman selected and because she might fly on the 50th anniversary of Valentina Tereshkova's flight.--Craigboy (talk) 00:57, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
