Old comment

Maybe someone should define what the fly bottle is.

Electric Flyswatters

[edit]

I think Electric Flyswatters should be moved from Fly-Killing device to "bug zappers" or bug zapper to Fly-Killing device. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.10.77.38 (talk) 21:05, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Don't electric flyswatters produce ozone? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:11CF:316:FD00:C420:C9FD:3E75:B1F9 (talk) 23:47, 14 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Abeyance

[edit]

To whoever it was that used the word "abeyance" in this article, you gave me a good laugh. That's the greatest example of too formal of a word I've ever seen, to the point where it doesn't even make sense. Why not just say "the killing of insects" rather than "the abeyance of insects"? Proposed merge of Flypaper into Fly-killing device

[edit]
The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
The result of this discussion was to merge. OzzyOlly (talk) 02:26, 26 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Flyswatter has already been merged here. The section that exists about flypaper on this page is entirely unsourced, and I think the dedicated article on flypaper has good sources to use. mwwv(converse) 17:20, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Support I don't see the need for a separate article at this point. Reywas92Talk 19:17, 14 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Support the separate flypaper article will never get large enough that it won't do well as a section of this one. Reconrabbit 18:49, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Powder traps should be added

[edit]

They work mainly for cluster files. One commercial source here, but there should be research somewhere. https://powdertrap.com/ Chipotle (talk) 14:44, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
