Similarities to Michael Jackson's "The Lady In My Life"[edit]

Although the similarities between the two songs may just be coincidental I still think we should feature information on the matter. In the end of both songs the same lyrics and tempo is used and I think they're similar enough for us to have a comparison in the article. However I'd appreciate a second opinion before I take any action. Eatspie (talk) 20:47, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I totally agree. She even says "Don't you go nowhere" which is an ad-lib from The Lady In My Life. --86.153.247.2 (talk) 17:34, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

My Edits on Today's Date[edit]

In my efforts to prune the overwhelming uncited and opinionated commentary running through the majority of Janet Jackson related articles, this article was pruned today. Among the type of text pruned: "The song is notable for the singer's moans and groans and rich French-speaking etiquette at the beginning and at the end of the song. Jackson's mother was offended by her youngest daughter's moans on the track.[citation needed]" What in the hell is "French speaking etiquette"? And if no one could find a citation RE: Jackson's mother in the last 17 months, it's time to remove it. CouplandForever (talk) 10:12, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sampling of this Song[edit]

I don't quite care enough to attempt to edit the article, but this song wasn't sampled by The Lost Boyz's for the song "Renee." The hook was merely re-sung. However, the song is indeed sampled by Camp Lo for the song Coolie High. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.89.81.52 (talk) 01:22, 2 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
