The wrong photo[edit]

This appears to be a photo of George Evans (1785-1876) of Emu Bottom Homestead fame, as is clearly marked on the State Library of Victoria entry.[[1]] Despite the telescope, its not George Evans explorer! Or am I wrong?--Nickm57 (talk) 05:45, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A bit more study of the State Library of Victoria site [2]- there does not seem any doubt that its NOT George Evans (explorer), but George Evans of Emu Bottom. So I'm moving the photo to the Emu Bottom Homestead page, as a George Evans (1785-1876) page does not yet exist.--Nickm57 (talk) 07:07, 8 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just wanted to point out that all text served from http://gutenberg.net.au (Project Gutenberg) is in the public domain (in Australia.) I do not know if this is good enough for Wikipedia licensing. Elizium23 (talk) 00:51, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
