  • Specific text to be added: In 2019, Georgia Central Railway was upgraded to allow its entire line to handle a 286,000 lb. capacity. Before this, GC was limited to 263,000 lbs. due to the capacity of the line’s bridges. In the past few years, GC invested $4 million to increase the capacity of their freight cars by creating thousands of bridge stringers and crossties.
  • Reason for the change: This information adds to the page and is relevant/applicable.
