Name change?

At the moment there is no explanation in the article for him not performing under his birth name. Does anyone know why he changed it? 206.47.112.24 (talk) 22:51, 30 April 2013 (UTC) Illegitimacy, it would seem. According to the French wikipedia article, [footnote 1]: Silly was his mother's then-married surname, while Bécaud was his actual father's surname.
