How did he die? He was a young man. Surely this should be included in the article?

It's sad that he died young. According to the article by Tim Boggan (given in External Links), he died of some illness. Zhuang Zedong called to convey his condolence, according to Boggan. --Roland 08:25, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Cowan was the youngest male player on the team that went to China. Olga Soltesz and Judy Bochenski Hoarfrost were younger. Piltdown Mann (talk) 01:28, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
