Obsidian and Peperite

[edit]

"Devitrified obsidian and other volcanic glasses typically develop graphic textures; peperite is a typical rock formed by this process." removed since it is not formed by immiscibility and exsolution, but peperite was added to "See also". The article on peperite has no image so it is difficult to know how graphic the impression would be. The shards may have triangular cross sections like cuneiform elements but would hard show the orientation and regularity typical of graphic granite. The obsidian shards may have devitrified, which may affect the contrast but hardly the pattern.150.227.15.253 (talk) 09:42, 27 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
