Research

Any users researching names for High Sheriffs of Shropshire list may like to know I have added office years in the 18th to 20th centuries that so far are unaccounted for, to keep the place warm for future additions of the appropriate Sheriff name.Cloptonson (talk) 15:14, 10 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding A.E.W. Darby, I have corrected the name of the place which his home Adcote (now Adcote School) from Baswich to Baschurch. That may be how it was printed in the London Gazette entry to which it is cited but it is a demonstrable mistake for whereas Baschurch is just to the north of Adcote and within Shropshire, Baswich is in Staffordshire.Cloptonson (talk) 19:53, 30 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]
