Picture

[edit]

Whats the point of having a picture that doesnt show anything of the building? If I had wanted to look at a picture of a plastic sheet I would have gone to that article. 129.31.80.102 (talk) 14:16, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Surely we can do better than that? C-sonic (talk) 14:54, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! This is a note to let the editors of this article know that File:Holy Trinity Sloane Street Church Nave 2 - Diliff.jpg will be appearing as picture of the day on March 22, 2016. You can view and edit the POTD blurb at Template:POTD/2016-03-23. If this article needs any attention or maintenance, it would be preferable if that could be done before its appearance on the Main Page. — Chris Woodrich (talk) 00:03, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Holy Trinity, Sloane Street
Holy Trinity is an Anglican parish church in London, built in 1888–90 on the south-eastern side of Sloane Street to an Arts and Crafts design by the architect J. D. Sedding. Funded by the 5th Earl Cadogan, in whose estate it lay, the church replaced an earlier building only half its size which, at the time of its demolition, was less than sixty years old. Holy Trinity was heavily damaged during World War II but restored by the 1960s.Photograph: David Iliff
