Portugal To-do:

Find correct name The airport is not listed as João Paulo II anywhere. The airport's own website calls itself simply Ponta Delgada, and has no mention of João Paulo.

  • Category:History of Portugal: lots to remove there
  • Template:Regions of Portugal: statistical (NUTS3) subregions and intercommunal entities are confused; they are not the same in all regions, and should be sublisted separately in each region: intermunicipal entities are sometimes larger and split by subregions (e.g. the Metropolitan Area of Lisbon has two subregions), some intercommunal entities are containing only parts of subregions. All subregions should be listed explicitly and not assume they are only intermunicipal entities (which accessorily are not statistic subdivisions but real administrative entities, so they should be listed below, probably using a smaller font: we can safely eliminate the subgrouping by type of intermunicipal entity from this box).

Infante Francis, Duke of BejaFrancisco, Duke of Beja – The present title is unnecesarry. The suffix of Infante is not at all logical or used here on wiki. He has a a named title and thus does not need the Infante suffix to distinguish him. Thank you, Cristiano Tomás (talk) 04:13, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

We usually add the Infant in order to show royalty or give distinction, but in the article title he is already shown to have his own noble title, and the infante just lengthens it and is unecessary for the article title, but it should be in the article lead. Thank you, Cristiano Tomás (talk) 06:14, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
At least it isn't Frederick Christian II, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Augustenburg.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 06:19, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cristiano, it should be changed from "Francis" to "Francisco". --Lecen (talk) 17:05, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, that is what I propose, alongside the drop of the "Infante". Thank you, Cristiano Tomás (talk)
But you must understand that royals who are not monarchs or concorts either have "prince" or "infante" before their names in their titles. See Prince Gaston, Count of Eu or Infante Francisco de Paula of Spain. --Lecen (talk) 21:28, 15 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Infante Francis, Duke of BejaInfante Francisco, Duke of Beja – I am currently revising the article on King João V, and this Infante is frequently mentioned in many of my sources. All the sources that refer to the Infante all refer to him as Francisco, and I have yet to find a single source that calls him Francis. I plan on expanding and turning this stub into a real article, but I find that I should start its reform with its article name. I appreciate all input and rationale, thank you, Cristiano Tomás (talk) 06:31, 6 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
