Misinformed top speed of fastball

[edit]

It has JJ Putz's top speed on his fastball as 'topping out at 97'. This is wrong. He has topped his fastball at 100 on numorous ocassions. Most of these are rare but are more frequent with 2 strikes and late in the count and with 2 outs late in the count. He seems to be able to throw as hard as adrenaline he has. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.212.75.93 (talk) 15:05, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nah, I think the 97 mile an hour stat is correct. We're talking about the consistent threshold that his fastball meets, which is 97. Whenever we see a higher mph, it's mostly do to inaccurate radar guns. --152.117.244.213 19:40, 27 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reported Trade to Mets

[edit]

Please do not update his page until the trade is official. The current reported deal is pending physicals. Putz is not a Met until the trade is actually announced. JustSomeRandomGuy32 (talk) 04:46, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Saves

[edit]

Would the addition of Save Opportunity stats improve the article if available? 86.40.96.229 (talk) 14:15, 7 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
