Date of birth

I have added a reference to a Scotsman article which hopefully clears up the debate over McLean's date of birth. Given that the writer goes out of his way to address the issue, and indeed highlights this article's past confusion over it, I think it can be regarded as authoritative, particularly given the details he provides of the 80th birthday celebrations in the McLean household.
