Untitled

[edit]

This isn't a subjective article. It's a puff piece that sounds like it was written by a PR flack. The opening statement is lifted, almost verbatim, from Dear's own website. DesScorp (talk) 17:24, 26 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dismissal from the Society of Jesus

[edit]

According to his own website and the National Catholic Reporter, Fr. John Dear was dismissed from the Society of Jesus for refusing to permanently relocate to the Jesuit community in Baltimore, per orders from his provincial. The article should be updated to reflect this new information. He remains a priest, but lacks priestly faculties in a official capacity. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Fujikochan (talkcontribs) 07:46, 8 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
