John Wilson, governor of Ceylon in 1811[edit]

That was a different person of the same name. Here he is given as Major-General at the time, while this John Wilson was serving in the Peninsular War, with the rank of lieutenant-colonel. Charles Matthews (talk) 10:01, 6 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
