Hello there... For my first time I am contributing to an article on a Politician in Campaing. I try to be neutral by quoting what Karen McCrimmon has declarered in different medias and articles, but it is difficult to explain her program and her views without looking partisan. Could you give a look to it and tell me what to change or avoid ? Many thanks for your help and have a great Holliday Seasons !

I need someone to remove... (not the snow...:) !

[edit]

Hi, I would need someone to remove the yellow band on top of Karen McCrimmon's article. I almost completed all aspects. I want to insert her picture soon.

Thank you for your help. Best wishes for New Year !

Problems with article

[edit]

Hi there. This article has suffered a lot of problems I advise that new editors to Wikipedia go to help or visit the Teahouse to further help. A few things to note:

  1. We cannot remove the template at the top, as it appears someone editing this article may have a conflict of interest with the subject. This is frowned upon in Wikipedia, and people can be blocked for editing COI subjects. You can learn more about that here: COI.
  2. You cannot revert the edits of another editor more than three times, and generally that means it enters into an "edit war. This is something not allowed on Wikipedia. Disputes about edits should be discussed on the talk page, preferably, of the article.
  3. You cannot add unreliable sources to article - that means Wordpress, blogs, YouTube, Facebook, the subjects own website, etc. That's not allowed and edits related to them will be removed.
  4. Please remain neutral - all articles on Wikipedia need to be boring, not full of fancy language promoting the subject and her beliefs. Keep it boring, non promotional, and that's that. Thanks.

Someone replaced the almost completed article on Karen McCrimmon with my old one that is far more incomplete ...

[edit]

Hello, I am the main author of this article on Karen McCrimmon and for some reasons the recent article I was signing Edgard Poe was replaced by the old one. I understand how the error occured because at the same time I was writing one in French and my user's name was Edgard Poe and this have brought the mistake in the English one. Could you replace the one I was completing today, instead of this one who is far incomplete ?

If there is a conflict between De Medicis and Edgard Poe there should not be any conflict because they are the same author and the same person and if you verify you will see it is the same e-mail. If you have some other reasons to remove more than half of my article, could you explain why?

Thank you,

Sincerely,

De Medicis,--De Medicis (talk) 20:17, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It is because the articles that you guys have written are full of non neutral, uncited materials (or material with unreliable sources). So, that is why. I touched on those points above. SarahStierch (talk) 23:36, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]
whoever did the revert got rid of many grammar edits i had made. Now there are more spelling mistakes. That is a shame. It would have been more help to simply delete the controversial content. Nathalie J. Caron (talk) 14:34, 26 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Missing Medal Ribbon

[edit]

I notice that the Special Service Medal Ribbon is missing. I looked at the embedded code using Edit and could not see any difference between that one and other medal ribbons. If I click on the empty box, I am taken to a Wiki image of the ribbon. I'm not sure why it is not showing up since the code for others seems to be in the same format. Age?

[edit]

Two years ago she was quoted "At the age of 64, it is time to make my health a priority." (Link already in article.) But the Wikipedia article now says she was "born 1959 (age 63–64)." Needs correction? Wilfred Day. Wilfred Day (talk) 20:21, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
