Expanding on this subject in 2020

[edit]

Time has come to expand on this subject. Interesting figure as her party works out its stand on security, global democracy threats etc, on which she is making an assertive stand. Would be good to see the political outlook of the subject being explored.Erasmus Sydney (talk) 06:55, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Erasmus Sydney: I think that sounds like a good idea. Would you like to work on it together? Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 07:44, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Callanecc:Absolutely. I'd like draw out the core ideas that have emerged in her parliamentary life, which seems to be a return to orthodox Labor values, being pro-resources, pro-union, but then pro-Israel and anti-authoritarian states too. Be nice to draw out the roots of that thinking in the early life too. Erasmus Sydney (talk) 11:03, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Callanecc: The touchstone "biography of a living person" articles, are, to my mind - Ron Paul, Joe Biden and Alan Keys, a good guide here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Good_article_criteria Erasmus Sydney (talk) 05:30, 4 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It's important to note that it's unlikely this article will get to the level of those three articles while she is in the outer cabinet aren't high given the comparative lack of independent source material that's going to discuss her political positions and her early background that may have led to them, remember WP:DUE and WP:OR. However, there's nothing stopping us from trying! Maybe the first step will be to find some reliable sources that discuss her political positions? It might also be easier to work on this in userspace where we have some more room to work? I've created User:Callanecc/Kimberley Kitching and copied this thread to it's talk page if you're happy to work there?
@Callanecc: Perfect. Erasmus Sydney (talk) 09:22, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Callanecc: Okay I've stared to sketch out work here on your talk page Erasmus Sydney (talk) 07:30, 6 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
