POV

[edit]

This paragraph strikes me as extremely POV, and I've accordingly removed it (except the note about leaving a large fortune):

Bold, overbearing and unscrupulous, Sinan recoiled from no baseness to put a rival out of the way; while his insolence was not confined to foreign ambassadors, but was exercised towards his opponents in the sultans presence. He had a barbarous hatred not only for Christians but for all civilization. The immense fortune which he left is a proof of his rapacity.

He very well may have been greedy, barbrous, unscrupulous, insolent, etc., but I think we ought to cite specific evidence (or at least a more neutral source) before including those judgments in the article. Did everyone hate this man so, or only the Christian editors of 1911? --Dvyost 16:44, 8 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"The previous version is faulty with false conclusions"?

[edit]

Zoupan Explain why according to you "The previous version is faulty with false conclusions"? [1] Ktrimi991 (talk) 21:09, 12 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Because the conclusions made are not mirroring those reliably sourced. You either use the sources, or not.--Zoupan 22:04, 12 January 2017 (UTC) Blocked sock:Ajdebre.[reply]
First of all you have three revisions not me so only you have edit warred until now. Koca Sinan Pasha was of Albanian origin.

Additional sources:

We need more than mentions in passing. The stable revision includes elaboration on the matter.--Zoupan 00:54, 13 January 2017 (UTC) Blocked sock:Ajdebre.[reply]
Since there are no sources to put his origin on question then we do not need "elaboration on the matter". The stable version is that before you changed half of article. WP:I don't like it is not an argument. Ktrimi991 (talk) 20:17, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You don't like it. Read the referenced material.--Zoupan 07:06, 28 February 2017 (UTC) Blocked sock:Ajdebre.[reply]
