Kootu or Koottu?

The typical pronunciation in Tamil is kUttu (கூட்டு) with a long 'U' and double 't' sound. The current spelling creates an impression of கூடு. I suggest renaming the topic (rams81 (talk) 16:00, 4 March 2008 (UTC))[reply]
