Notable

this article doesnt meet notability just because it is a country. You dont need to have articles on rights in every article if there is nothing to discuss. the first section specifically says nothing to do LGBT issues as arisen in the country (also unsourced), with the previous sentence mentioning constitutional law (more suited to Law in Qatar). The next section are vague to the title as is mentiosn nothing to do with privacy rights/laws. Wikipedia is not a weblog to list anything and everything that happens in timeline format.

Let me rephrase that: only 1 sentence in the whole page is relevant to the law, but it is also cited to a page that has an obvious conflict of interest.Lihaas (talk) 19:00, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

This is false, there were no protests. The article linked cites one (fairly random) person's opinion on the issue. That does not constitute as a protest, let alone 'protests arising'. Can anyone fix this?

Where's the T?

As it stands, this article is just LGB rights in Qatar. There's no information whatsoever on the rights or public acceptance (or lack of either) of trans people in Qatar. Can anyone fix this? Xmoogle (talk) 15:19, 24 February 2016 (UTC)

Uncertainty about whether Qatar is a member of the GCC

The Wikipedia article on the GCC provides conflicting information about whether Qatar is in fact a member (I have pointed this out on the talk page for that article, with a cross-reference to this one). If Qatar is not in fact a member, the reference here to the GCC is not of relevance to LGBT rights in Qatar.188.230.240.75 (talk) 11:56, 6 June 2017 (UTC)

Enforcement?

According to Human Dignity Trust, the enforcement is rare. They say "There is some limited evidence of the law being enforced in recent years, however reports are rare". -GogoLion (talk) 22:48, 26 November 2023 (UTC)
