Untitled[edit]

Captain Francis Light was never knighted and he never married the daughter of the Sultan of Kedah. He cohabited with an Eurasian of Portuguese descent, Martina Rozells. Light Street Ghaut (opposite St Xavier's Institution) was formerly known as Martina Lane.

List of Governors[edit]

The above list was replaced with a sourced list. But the new sourced list may not be complete. So I have moved this list here for others to find sources and add the additional information to the basic sourced list provided. (The one citation given above it to a primary source. Although those can be used it makes the list an OR exersise, what is needed are secondary sources for which primary sources can be added for clarity). -- PBS (talk) 02:29, 11 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
