I had included Squire's (new) 2023 novel as a little note at the end of his academic stuff: Since his retirement from the World Bank, Squire has turned his attention to crime fiction and publishing in 2023 Immortalised to death, the first of his The Dunston Burnett trilogy.[1][2]. But I think this triggered the AFD (someone thought it promotional) for someone who to my mind is clearly a notable academic economist with sufficient publications, the editorship of a Journal and an acdemic book subject to multiple indpendent reviews. The only review of the novel.... (there are lots of reviews of his Econ of Project Appraisal book) I could find was the Kirkus one.... But..... (https://www.kirkusreviews.com/book-reviews/lyn-squire/immortalised-to-death/) ... So the novel and him being a new novelist should probably not be mentioned in the article. I just thought it was interesting. Perhaps if and when more reviews come out it could be restored (Msrasnw (talk) 11:47, 11 April 2024 (UTC))[reply]
