NHL Conspiracy?

[edit]

Any verifiable references that the NHL was not interested in having a New York Rangers player approach the NHL scoring record, and that a French-Canadian coach would be complicit in denying it from happening?

Oof.

[edit]

This is a pretty poorly written article, with BLP violations, speculation, POV and sheer inaccuracies - for instance, far from it being a "consolation" of having Guy Lafleur as a teammate in New York, Lafleur's presence bumped Dionne from the Rangers' power play and dramatically cut his playing time, leading to his relegation to the minors for the rest of his career. Let's see if I can overhaul it a bit. Ravenswing 11:52, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
